WRX 2022+

The sedan was discontinued, along with the manual transmission, leaving the hatchback and the Lineartronic CVT as the only options. Torsional rigidity is improved by ten percent by using more high-strength steel. The Impreza became more upmarket with standard Subaru EyeSight and automatic emergency braking. The dual-pinion steering rack from the WRX was also added. For the first time since it was discontinued in 2005, Subaru has revived the 2.5 RS model, equipped with an engine which develops 182 hp (136 kW) and 178 lb⋅ft (241 N⋅m) of torque.
